4WD Touring
and Expedition
A journey into the
Wilderness is a journey of Adventure, from the time you prepare till you
escape the hustle and bustle of city life. If you enjoy pristine
untouched Nature away from the tourist crowd then you will enjoy touring
by 4WD.
Relax under the shade
of the rainforest and enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets and marvel at
the clear night sky.
If
you want a unique and safe outdoor experience that has it all, from the
majestic Waterfalls to the Heart of Endau Rompin Rainforest Park, come
join us in Mudtrekker’s guided 4WD touring convoy.
Expeditions are mostly self drive. You can either bring along your own vehicle
and "tag along" or we can provide vehicles for you. Most of the fun of a expedition is to drive yourself and we encourage that.
Basic 4 wheel drive techniques and safety tips will be given along the
way.
The 4WD journeys in within Malaysia are rated between medium to hard core
terrain, the weather really plays a pert in determining how hard the
terrain can get. On other occasions land slides, large fallen trees or
over flooded rivers may cause the journey to be delayed.
During our expeditions, you will be experience how it is like to travel in a group of vehicles (convoy). The terrain will usually be muddy, some hill climbs, river crossings and at times you will need to build bridges and repair broken roads. We
organise different types of touring some with harder routes and some
simpler which normal 4wd's can follow.
Your accommodation at night is in a tent and sleeping bags are provided. Food is
catered from our very own Mudtrekker Camp Out Eatery, the food is halal with a variety of of dishes,
Bbq and of course RICE. All cooked fresh at camp.
We travel in several locations of Malaysia - depending on the terrain and itinerary we seek. Our experience suggest that Endau Rompin, Pahang to be the best as it provides us best of two
worlds, the rainforest and the most untouched beaches south of Pahang state.
From this program you will be exposed to camping out, 4WD driving techniques, recovery techniques and most of all The Adventure Spirit. |
