Uncharted Gem Islands of the East

East Coast Malaysia Presents you .. Lost Gems of the East....of the coast of Penyabong

Penyabong and its surrounding islands is Malaysia's well kept secret. With approximately 12 untouched and uninhibited tropical islands surrounding the Penyabong coastline, this destination is rich with colorful corals and exotic sea life.

White sandy beaches line the islands and crystal clear water allows you to have a clear look at the activities that goes on underwater. Snorkel across corals the size of a large dining table and look out for the abundance shellfish littered on the seabed.

This is also a perfect diving spot where baby sharks and baby barracudas are frequently seen.

History has it that the HMS Tenet was sunk here by the Japanese during WWII in front of Aceh Island, which is located approximately 70 feet under and the late Robinson Crusoe movie was also filmed here.

During low tide, take a stroll across the shallow waters between Pulau Sribuat and Pulau Sembilan and paddle by the edge of the miniature mangroves.

Hike around the jungles on larger islands and you may spot animal treks of wild boars, mouse deer and large monitor lizards. See eagles hover the peaks of these islands and when its your turn on the peak, enjoy a 360 degrees birds-eye-view all the surrounding islands.
